- NDIS Self-Managed
- Spirited Connections utilises SquareUp to handle your service invoice, after which we forward the paid invoice to you for direct submission to NDIS for reimbursement.
- Third Party Managed Clients
- Spirited Connections will send your service invoice to your Plan Manager for payment processing.
- Families under the NDIS program are expected to establish a Service Agreement. This document specifies the funding allocation you wish to designate to Spirited Connections and the specific services you intend to access. The Service Agreement is coordinated during your assessment or your initial session.
- How you can utilise your NDIS for Spirited Connections services:
- Capacity Building Daily Activities: this is the therapy amount in your plan and can be used for assessments/reporting, individual sessions or peer/group sessions.
- Capacity Building Improved Relationships: this can be utilised for parent/caregiver training, behaviour therapy/behaviour plans.
- Increased Social and Community Participation: this can be used to access group programs to support children to engage in social/adventure activities.
NDIS Session Costs
In alignment with the pricing guidelines set forth in the 2022-2023 NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, the session is billed at a rate of $193.99. This covers a comprehensive appointment, encompassing 45 minutes of direct face-to-face support and an additional 15 minutes dedicated to Therapist documentation and preparation.
The fee and travel rate for NDIS participants are as per current pricing guidelines.
Enhanced Primary Care Plan or Chronic Disease Management PlanYour child can access this plan without the need for a prior diagnosis, and it can be initiated by your GP. Your Doctor will assess your child's eligibility and, if deemed suitable, allocate up to 5 sessions for Occupational Therapy per calendar year. Eligibility for this plan is determined by whether your child has a complex or chronic condition necessitating ongoing care from a Multidisciplinary Team, which may include professionals such as a Speech Pathologist, Psychologist, Paediatrician, Dietician, Physiotherapist, among others.
Better Access to Mental Health Medicare Plan The Better Access to Mental Health Medicare Plan offers rebates, allowing clients to access up to 10 sessions annually. This program is accessible to individuals with a diagnosed mental health condition, particularly those experiencing substantial challenges in emotional and behavioral regulation. The support is divided into two phases: an initial plan comprising six sessions followed by a review plan with four additional sessions. After each set of sessions (at the sixth and tenth session), your Occupational Therapist will a aprovide progress letter to the referring Doctor.
Private Health Insurance Spirited Connections processes your service invoice with SquareUp then sends the paid invoice to you to be claimed directly with your Private Health Insurance.
The session fee of $193.99 is available to those without NDIS funding.
The session fee is applicable to all types of funding, encompassing assessments, report writing, NDIS Summaries, and remote support services.
