Sensory Processing Assessment

  • Our Occupational Therapists specialise in providing brief sensory processing assessments to gain a clear understanding of your child’s unique sensory preferences, sensitivities, and challenges. Sensory processing plays a vital role in how children interpret and respond to the world around them, affecting their ability to focus, regulate emotions, and engage meaningfully in daily activities.

  • Following the online assessment form completion, we connect with you and then design a personalised home program tailored to your child’s needs. This may include strategies to enhance sensory regulation, build tolerance to sensory input, and create routines that promote calm and focus. Additionally, we recommend practical accommodations to support your child in various environments, including home, school, and the broader community.

  • Our goal is to empower your child by providing tools and supports that foster their confidence, independence, and meaningful participation in everyday life. Whether your child experiences sensory sensitivities, seeks more sensory input, or needs help balancing their sensory needs, our team is here to guide and support them on their journey.
